I spent 20 years working as a marine ecologist, which took me from Ireland to Antarctica.
I enjoyed a fantastic career working on Plankton, but then gave it all up to live the good life in Cumbria.
Always looking for new challenges, I took part in 3 triathlons in 2014, the biggest being the worlds Hardest Half Iron Tri in Wasdale. I enjoyed the training as much as the event, and during that time realised how much sports massage could help athletes. I spent the next year training as a sports massage therapist and since then have been training in more advanced clinical massage techniques. I'm particularly targeting release of the fascia and trigger points, which allows me to treat people suffering from a wide variety of soft tissue related pain.
I enjoy working with people to help release areas of tension in their bodies, and empowering them to continue the work after the treatment.
