MAINTENANCE MASSAGE

Routine maintenance massages should enable you to train longer and harder and stay injury free. This is a chance for you to learn about your muscles and to be more involved in keeping them in peak condition. Expect your muscles to be tested and palpated to determine a massage routine specific to your needs. |
PRE-EVENT
A short, lively and energising massage aimed at helping you warm-up and preparing your muscles for action. It can be done on the day of the event, taking about 10 mins. Alternatively, you can have a longer massage (30 mins) up to two days before the event and still gain benefit. |
POST-EVENT
This is a relaxing massage of 10-30 mins aimed at flushing toxins and lactic acid from muscles reducing delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) and improving recovery time. |
